The Role

Working alongside our Manpower and Recruitment team, you will help identify, recruit, onboard and maintain a strong network of skilled personnel for our existing and upcoming projects. The role combines candidate resourcing with recruitment administration. You will spend time speaking with candidates, searching recruitment platforms, advertising vacancies and proactively identifying suitable personnel. You will also ensure CVs, candidate information, qualifications, training records and recruitment documentation are accurately maintained and available when required. We are looking for someone with previous recruitment experience who is organised, confident speaking with people, proactive and comfortable working within a busy recruitment environment. Previous experience within the Marine, Defence or Engineering sectors is not required. We can provide the industry-specific knowledge needed to understand the trades, qualifications and projects we support.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing & Recruitment

•  Proactively source candidates for current and upcoming manpower requirements.

•  Search recruitment platforms, databases, job boards and social media for suitable personnel.

•  Advertise current and upcoming vacancies and contact potential candidates by phone, email and online platforms.

• Carry out initial candidate screening and understand candidates' experience, qualifications, availability and preferred type of work.

•  Review CVs and identify candidates suitable for current projects.

•  Build and maintain candidate pipelines across key trades and disciplines.

•  Maintain relationships with good personnel between projects and keep accurate records of candidate availability.

•  Assist the recruitment team with short-notice and high-volume requirements.

Recruitment Administration

•  Format and update candidate CVs before client submission.

•  Maintain accurate candidate and personnel records.

•  Collect qualifications, competency cards, certificates and other required documentation.

•  Upload and maintain documentation within company systems.

•  Monitor qualification and training expiry dates.

•  Keep candidate contact information and availability records updated.

•  Assist with references and pre-employment checks.

•  Prepare candidate information for review and client submission.

•  Support general recruitment and manpower administration.

Onboarding & Mobilisation Support

•  Assist successful candidates through the onboarding process.

•  Issue and collect onboarding documentation.

•  Help coordinate training, medicals and other project requirements.

•  Support security clearance and site-access administration where required.

•  Ensure required documentation has been received before mobilisation.

•  Keep candidates informed throughout the onboarding process.

•  Liaise with the wider Manpower team to ensure personnel are ready to start work when required.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Previous recruitment experience is essential for this role.

We are looking for someone who already understands the recruitment process and is comfortable sourcing candidates, managing applications, maintaining candidate records and supporting recruitment from initial contact through to on-boarding.

Experience within Engineering, Marine, Defence or Construction recruitment is not required. We can provide the industry-specific knowledge and training needed to understand the sectors, trades and projects we support.

•  Experienced within recruitment, resourcing or recruitment administration.

•  Confident proactively sourcing and approaching candidates.

•  Comfortable speaking with candidates over the phone and building relationships.

•  Experienced using recruitment platforms, job boards and candidate databases.

•  Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

•  Comfortable managing multiple vacancies and candidate requirements simultaneously.

•  Confident using Microsoft Office and general recruitment systems.

•  Proactive and comfortable working within a fast-paced recruitment environment.

•  Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
