The Role

Shearwater Marine Services Ltd is seeking a Technical Maintenance Manager to be based in our Dunoon Office. The role will involve leading a team of Dive and Maintenance Technicians and coordinating all our maintenance operations across our full range of dive equipment and other company assets.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management: Managing and supporting our team of dive and maintenance technicians across multiple sites.
Dive Equipment Maintenance: Coordinating and prioritising maintenance workload to ensure all equipment is regularly inspected, maintenance and repairs are carried out promptly, and calibration on all diving gear meets legal and safety standards. Ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay on top of laws and industry regulations, making sure all equipment is always compliant. Ensure team are also kept up to date with any changes in this area.
Documentation: Ensure that all documentation is maintained, keeping detailed, up-to-date logs and records for all maintenance, inspections, and compliance checks.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure they have all the necessary gear for successful and safe operations.
Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiency and safety improvements in equipment maintenance and procedures.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Experience in leading maintenance teams working across multiple sites.
Project management and logistics management skills and experience required.
Excellent knowledge of safety regulations, industry best practices, and legal requirements.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational and motivational skills.
Valid driving license
Familiarity with safe lifting, handling, and slinging practices.

Starting Salary from £45,000 (depending on experience)
