Plant & Equipment
Main Base - Our main base in Sandbank is well equipped to support our dive teams, as well as workshops and a static recompression chamber, we have our own welding booths and training tank and a underwater video repair & production facility housed in the premises.
Dive Teams - Our dive teams are equipped with full surface demand facilities and a range of Kirby Morgan bandmasks or helmets working from three trailered units, vans or workboats.Teams are equipped with underwater video equipment and small tools such as airlifts or airprobes.
Workboats & Safety Boats - Three workboats provide backup to our dive teams for work in in accessible areas, moorings or offshore structures.
'Hound Voyager' is a 12m Cat 3 MCA steel workboat with a full surface demand dive spread and Hiab crane. She is an ideal platform for fendering and jetty work and has been utilised successfully for the dive inspection of offshore outfalls, mooring buoys and offshore navigation platforms.
'Synolda' is a 10m fibreglass launch, utilised for inspection work and can support a dive team in reletive comfort when long shifts are required.
We also have a number of smaller safety boats plastic and Gemini inflatables and a 6.5m rigid inflatable with a 225hp engine. This boat is particularly useful during cable installation and inspection operations.
Recompression Chambers - We operate 2 recompression chambers, our static chamber remains at our unit in Sandbank and our containerised unit is available wherever required on site.
Tools - Tooling requirements are dictated by the nature of the contract, we have a number of hydraulic power packs to operate our hull and prop cleaning equipment, chainsaws, breakers and drills. We also have a number of burning and welding rigs. Specialist tooling can be hired in from a network of hire companies we utilise after fourteen years in the business.
