Accreditation and Certification

Shearwater Marine Services Ltd are active members of the Association of Diving Contractors.We believe that the only way to achieve a professional and safe working environment to operate in, is to work with like minded members of the diving industry. We see the Association of Diving Contractors as the one way of achieving this aim.

Further to this we need to ensure management, staff and sub contractors also have the tools to achieve their goals efficiently and cost effectively without an effect to the quality of the service. To this end Shearwater committed and achieved BS EN ISO 9002 : 1994 March 1997 and updated this award in July 2003 with BS EN ISO 9001:2000

A further award was achieved in April 2001 when Shearwater recieved Investor In People accreditation for in house training, for further enhancing existing workplace and management skills.

As part of a continuing improvement strategy the company underwent audit and achived Approval of Service Suppliers by Lloyd's Register EMEA in January 2006, allowing Shearwater to carry out in water surveys to Lloyds register classed ships and mobile offshore units in designated areas with the attendance of a supervising Lloyds Register surveyor
